Taxi Driver

In 2009, a taxi-driver happened upon 35.000 in a backpack left in the back of his car, with no means of identifying its owner. Set on doing the right thing, he looked for the owner and returned the money, without receiving any reward for his good deed. 

When we came across this piece of news, we couldn’t help but think he deserved more, so we set up an online platform called Devolvele la Guita al Taxista (Give back the bucks to the taxi driver), where people could make donations of all sorts in order to reward him for his honesty. In just a few days, it raised over 40.000 in gifts for Santiago.
